  • Jenny has her first college midterms this week.  Wish her luck!!
  • Steven and Sara are doing great.  They both just got their midterm reports from school and they did very well!

Bubble Briefs

  • As most of you already know, Michelle has graduated from Ohio State University in just three short years.  She is now living in Columbus and has a real job!  Welcome to the real world Michelle!
  • Jenny just started her first week in college at Indiana University.  She’s already having the time of her life!
  • So, do you remember the car you helped us buy for Michelle a few years back.  Well, its resting comfortably now in the car lot graveyard in the sky.  But don’t fret.  Jenny doesn’t need the car that you helped us buy for her.  So, guess what?  Jenny, being the great sister that she is, gave her car to Michelle.  What a loving family we have!
  • Neither Steven nor Sara ever broke any bones before.  For the first time, Steven broke his arm at the beginning of the summer and now, just the other day, Sara broke her baby toe! Don’t worry, though, they’re both doing just fine!

July, 2005 - eBay Live!

Mark and Robin had just gotten back from eBay Live! 2005. It was in San Jose and celebrated eBay’s 10th anniversary. No holds barred, eBay pulled out all the stops. They treated us like royalty. eBay rented out the San Jose Sharks stadium to make its presentations. Everyone had access to free food and eBayanna. I’m looking right now across from my chair at the eBay pom pons, slinkies, balls, and eBay clackers that were given out that day.

The coolest thing ever . . .
When everyone got off the bus to attend the final dinner, they had to go through a tunnel of hundreds of eBay employees clapping for the 10,000 attendees. Mark and Robin experienced shivers down their spines as the passed through with the eBay employees and both sides showing through gratitude. Those were the days, eh?

  • eBay Live! was great!  We met so many neat people.  Are you one of them?  Email us at mark@bubblefast.com if you want to share any eBay Live! stories.  Some of them might even make it in next month’s newsletter!
  • Our 4th of July celebration was exhausting, but fun.  We went to three carnivals and saw fireworks on two separate nights.  Our ears are still ringing!
  • Bubblefast continues to work around the clock to bring you new products.  In fact, stay tuned for a new, improved website in a couple of months.  We’ll be able to add many new products once our new site is up and running.

Bubblefast ran a special on LP album mailers for the month of July.

  • Grandma Gloria is an extra in a movie!  The name of the movie is “Stranger Than Fiction.“ It stars Will Farrell, Emma Thompson, Dustin Hoffman, and Queen Latifa.  Wow!
  • Robin’s brother, David, just got married, May 14th to Melissa.  Welcome to the family Melissa.  We love you!
  • Jenny just graduated from High School.  She’ll be attending Indiana University in the Fall.  Good luck Jenny!
  • Michelle is graduating (in only three years!) from Ohio State this month.  Congratulations, Michelle!

  • Many of us from both sides of our family are U of I Alum.  GO ILLINI!  Nice job against Arizona.  Good luck in the FINAL FOUR!
  • Jenny just got back from a trip to her new school – Indiana University.  She thought it was “awesome!”  Good Golly!  Out of state tuition is expensive!
  • We miss Elf Billy.  His college schedule hasn’t allowed him to work much this semester.  We look forward to seeing him more over the summer.

Bubblefast first introduced its eight sizes unlined poly courier mailers in April, 2005.  Many customers needed water resistant and tear resistant plastic mailers for soft goods, such as clothes.  Bubble cushioning was not necessary.  These white poly bags are so inexpensive and lightweight.  Our customers loved them!

March, 2005 - Sweets Sounds of A Capella

Michelle, who has a beautiful voice, was in an A Capella group while in school at Ohio State. In March of 2005, her group traveled to Akron to perform. Mark and Robin decided to travel that weekend to hear Michelle and he group. It was sweeeeet!
